Granted, that should be tested to ensure it is not detrimental to the game
but that said, they can't test every TV on the market. This is exactly why I
do not like HDMI on my TV because ALL resolutions are overscanned and which I
haven't noticed anything important cut off it reduces the overall resolution
considerably and enduces ghosting where none is present on the 1:1 ratio VGA
input.
And to Proph NO, I don't want to start this argument of overscanning again.
Fact is, for some people it exists as the VGA input is the ONLY one that on
ALL HDTVs is 1:1 ratio, if you can output its native resolution from your
console that is (so people with 1680x1050 TVs are out of luck).
