Re: [Xbox] Tales of Vesperia DLC makes characters stronger, but not uber-powerful

I like the idea of helper DLC as long as it doesnt really unlock stuff you need to earn in the game *COUGH* EA *COUGH*.., this is a cool ass idea AND having been a tales fan for like EVER since I worked on the first one back in my Namco days the collectors version looks super tight~!

SNIPPED from the article>>>

'In any event, the full list of DLC currently available for the game can be found via the source link below. Just note that it's in Japanese, so you may want to have an online translator handy when you access it.'

I say>>>

Tales of Vesperia DLC: single-use items only - Image 1

Namco Bandai recently revealed the new DLC that's supposed to augment your Tales of Vesperia playing experience, and we were surprised to find that it was an otherwise healthy mix of useful DLC that can be bought to make your characters stronger, but not make them uber-powerful for the whole game.

The case in point for the DLC offerings happens to be the level-up packs you can purchase to get you through the game: a Level Up 10 and two Level Up 5 packs. These can only be bought once (The Level Up 5 is numbered 1 and 2) and therefore only be used once in the game, giving you a maximum of 20 levels for 700 Microsoft Points .

As the above picture indicates, all the DLC actually shows up as limited-use items in the Tales of Vesperia menu, so you can actually choose to buy them and use them at the beginning (to get through the start areas quicker) or near the end of the game (for the extra dungeons).

In any event, the full list of DLC currently available for the game can be found via the source link below. Just note that it's in Japanese, so you may want to have an online translator handy when you access it.
