Personally I use the Java http://sourceforge.net/projects/x360mediaserve/ as
it transcodes unsupported audio formats on the fly and is free.

The only problem is it doesn't support video on the latest dashboard and it
isn't getting updated much. But if all you want is audio streaming, it works
brilliant.
