to me... localized multiplayer. Sony thumbs it's nose at you, demanding
and expecting every American to sit their enlarging asses in a small dark
room alone, maybe with a 2nd person at best and play using the Net
for multiplayer - period. No SystemLink at all, which the 360 performs
with just fine.
When we run tourneys and such using SystemLink, we don't screw
with lag times or anything else. And LAN/Gaming Centers that are
popping up are mostly stocked with 360's because they're far easier
for head-to-head live competition than farting around with the PS3's
setup to get multiple players facing each other. Hone your skills at
home, work your team that way - then go out and kick some (## in
LAN centers and tournaments. We won't touch PS3's because with
all the investment in hardware, then having to much around with Net
connections in the middle of nowhere - why bother? Roll in with 360's
and you're up and running in seconds.
Not that the PS3 sucks, seriously. It's just Sony's 'our way or
nothing' bit that turns me off. Would I play one if I had one in front
of me? Uh, yeah?
