Re: [Xbox] so u never found the culprit huh?

You know what you could do is send everyone in the group an individual email with just their email addy in the body.  When that message gets posted on that site, it'll show that email addy.  Unfortunately you have 3500+ members so that might take you a while, lol.

Thanks,
Nelson

the only other way would be to scrape the Email and repost it.  it's an easy thing to pull off
if you have a POP Email reader and some programming skills.    you could play with the URL
and just pull messages out that way and dump them to the blog.

and yeah..looks like it's just a stipped version of our Emails.

so the only way to really take care of the problem is to remove everyone on the list. =(
there's just no good way to tell unless I write a bulk mail to EVERYONE on the list
asking. .are you the one posting our messages?

the only thing we can do (And I think I will) is add a line somewhere saying.
   stop stealing our messages.

and see if that get's though the stripper.

one last dumb question..since both you and Nate have it turned off, how's he/she doing it?  Are they most likely just posting our emails that come through?

Thanks,

There's an RSS feed for all Yahoo groups.
But the messages must be public.. or you must be subscribed..
somewhere/how I've got that turned off on the Xbox group..

so therefore..it's a member.. looks like I'm going to need to do a massive you can't be on 'no mail' or 'special notices'
check of the members..

Nope.. and it really wouldn't matter.  Whom ever is doing it isn't reading the list
itself.  and can/could still get the posts though the RSS feed.
