RE: [Xbox] 360 & Vista

I need to go back and read EVERYTHING YOU posted to see what was going on but before you make any generalizations I think you need to check and then tell us “did you meet ALL of the minimum requirements” of running the OS to begin with.

And remember, these are the minimum requirements for the OS to run but not necessarily to run at the BEST and MOST OPTIMIZED conditions.  This is just to run.

So if you’re just scraping by on testing with just minimum requirements then your opinions might be skewed to begin with and you will mostly likely weigh in heavily with negative comments and you may not be giving the OS the best opportunity to shine.

Now if you’re condition is that you can’t afford to give the OS all of it’s needed attention to run its BEST and MOST OPTIMIZED condition then that is not necessarily the developers fault or problem.  Sure, it could be bloated,  but if you want to use the features it has then it’s up to you.  Technically, and I could just be over opinionated about this, but there is nothing that your LINUX can do that DOS 6.22 can’t do in base functions (except for maybe networking).  They just do it in different ways.  And compared to DOS 6.22, LINUX is bloated…

And if you really needed too, you can run Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 for free so you can use some of your legacy applications on Vista running in a sandbox, until your application gets Vista certified.

Clearly you aren't listening again. I didn't say 16GB was a lot, I said it
forcing you to have double the space free it actually needs was annoying
because I couldn't spare that space as it was all already in use for XP and I
wasn't ready to REPLACE XP until I had VERIFIED Vista worked with my apps.

Alex.
