Re: [Xbox] 8 Simple Ways to Improve Xbox Live

I never said I liked it.  and, many people in the field are morons, that aren't opened minded, like console fanboys.  if microsoft made it, they hate it.  and most of the time the reasons they state, are wrong, it's so damn funny

Because I don't agree that it belongs on the 360, I didn't like that you gave your opinion? I don't like IE....and neither do the other people I encounter regularly....some of them are also "in the field". You, however, do like it ( but don't use it ). I never tried to take that from you. Why would I? This has to do with it being on my gaming console, and to that.....well:

I still only see reasons of pure laziness ( in my opinion ) being given for adding it to the console. The only other reason I can see, would be because "Sony did it".....and who here thinks M$ needs to compete with them on that?

It still seems like certain opinions here are attacked because they don't coincide with the "regulars"....which is why I don't reply to many threads here. A lot of the responses give me the "why bother" way of thinking. This place seemed cool enough when I checked out all of the Groups, and I thought it would be to my benefit to join and have some decent discussion. Doesn't seem to be the case when every little thing is taken out of context and then 'some' people are told to cut it out while others can do as they please. Like what this thread just turned in to for a little while - discussion of local bars and whatnot. God forbid the wrong people dared to do that....they'd be branded "a problem" and hung out to dry.

hey, u gave yours, we gave ours, and u didn't like that.  what i said about IE is indeed a fact, i've been developing web applications for about 12 years now, not just anything, but i've done full blown online reporting tools for glaxo-smith kline, Merck, microscan (siemens), and several others.  not to mention, IE is the fastest, best rendering browser out there, may not be the best browser, and, i don't use it personally, but that is a fact, like it or not

Nah, man....it's just that I have noticed that anything said here that goes against what the "clique" thinks is right, is smacked down with a considerable amount of sarcasm and seems to be regarded as being "hostile" and/or "testy".

The question of a browser was posed, and opinion seemed to be asked for. i gave mine...and, in my short amount of time, I backed mine up with reasons. Never forced them on anyone and never painted any of what i said as "fact".

If you guys don't want opinions to be voiced....or at least ones that don't coincide with the rest of you, then why bother allowing people to join.
