RE: [Xbox] Automatic Sign In to Xbox Live

I just checked my gamer tag setup and it’s enabled for auto sign in and it’s still not working.

It's in your Gametag setup? If you select Auto Login there and it's
reverting back to not auto, then something's fishy with the code on
that 360. We've had kids change it on us, part of life, but once we
set the auto-login 99% of the time it works just fine.

Re: [Xbox] Automatic Sign In to Xbox Live

Are we sure auto-signin actually works with the button code activated?

[Xbox] Automatic Sign In to Xbox Live

I don’t know if I’m missing something or not but after I changed my sign in code/button strokes to Xbox Live I don’t get signed in automatically anymore when I turn on my system.

I checked my settings and thought I had it set up for auto sign in but it’s not working.  Whenever I turn on my Xbox it says I’m not signed in and I have to select to sign in and enter my buttons every time.

Has anyone seen this?  Does anyone know how I can fix it to auto sign in for me like it did when I first setup my Xbox?

Re: [Xbox] Xbox...games

I can't tell you how much mileage I still get out of Battlefront 2.  It's a great pick up and play game with personal advancement and awards.

Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 and 2, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, and *ta-dah* Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (the best of the series, IMO).

Re: [Xbox] Xbox...games

ghost recon advance by tom clancy is great, halo series is always the best.

also if you have 360 try gears of war, mass effect, bioshock and timeshift they are shooters and very good as well.

Re: [Xbox] Re: [gamers_for_life] out-dated help?

I love when you crosspost from another convo so we're all clueless! LOL

www.firefold.com - use it, love it.

Ethernet USB up to 200ft, love it every day, works like a charm. Far
better as a repeater for controllers and such to prevent lag than a straight
wireless and the worst you have is Cat5e through a wall no one's gonna
see. Simple 10ft extension patch cord would even work from the layout
you mentioned?

So when are me and Alex comin over for the break-in sessions? He's
gotta clear Customs first, of course, which will be a challenge when he
finds out I secretly planted master plans in his clothing so Homeland
plays with him for 'awhile'! <Grin>

Re: [Xbox] First Impression: Soul Caliber IV

Nice Quinn!    Would you mind if I posted this 'rant review' on GamersVue.com?

2008/7/31 Quinn Aguirre <drunkenironrabbit@yahoo.com>

Personally my review wont go so well.., SOUL CALIBUR 4 isnt all a bed of roses, as it is choked with too many thorns.

If you guys had known me personally you would know that Im all about soul calibur and that I used to work on SC2 back at namco. So, YES, Soul Calibur 4 for me should be a natural fit, as well as a close personal love. But Im mad at 'MOM & DAD' so to speak. Im telling you now.., Im at least 50% unhappy with this version.., and I'll tell you why.

First off, to end on a happy note, the negativos:

This is the first SC game that has regressed. Thats right SCIII is the superior game.., and unfortunately it was PS2 ONLY. [Im in no way a Sony fanboy BTW. I worked for them and hate them as a result for MANY reasons]. The create a character mode was dropped and they made it a create a skin mode. In other words instead of the weapon that you carry determining your play style [each had a unique NON palette swap style different from the campaign characters] and that you could change it on the fly before you went into battle you are, stuck with conforming to the same style as one of the existing characters. Not so bad you say? Go play Soul Calibur III and choose for your created character a rod and then play as Kilik.., Then come back and tell me I'm wrong. And killing off the Wave Blade all together? Un-FN-forgivable.

[I know this is a small thing but] The taunts before a fight are gone.

The characters name of who won the battle isnt named. Another cheap out.

Character Creation Mode GONE: Still Called 'Character Creation' but is actually Character Palette Swap as you are confined to existing characters play styles. There are no 'unique' play styles just for the create a characters like last time. You should have an option for both.

Not enough faces for create a skin mode.

Mission Mode GONE

Chronicles of the Sword GONE

Traditional Stores GONE

Katas GONE

World Competition Mode GONE

THX certification GONE

WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU MAKING TAKI AND IVYS TITS SO HUGE

They were big enough already, thanks, now they just look dumb.., and I know some guys [straight guys mind you] that were put off enough by that that they didn't buy the game. Because it seemed to be too pervy. And I would have to agree. Thanks

Absence of what would make sense with guest characters no Skywalker Sound Technology.

Having to wait for VADER to be unlocked.., that blank space for him in the character screen looking at you taunting and laughing at you for days on end until they make him downloadable.

Possible Downloadable Vader not having his 'STORY'

Currently PS3 exclusive  ending to the apprentice  that we dont have on 360. :(

Possibly no fix on the apprentice end story once vader is added to charcter roster.

[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLDBGYrDnAo] bad audio buzz and dont watch it until after youve done it on your system [YOU WERE WARNED]

You dont EARN characters. You BUY them.
The whole accomplishment feeling gone BYE BYE thanks for making this game unfullfilling.
[Achievements dont replace this, but I know thats what they were thinking.]

Story mode 5 levels long. ARE YOU FN crazy!?

Lack of ONLINE modes.

Retooling of favorite returning characters move list. :( some of them were just made worse :(

Cinematics are too short.., with all the cutting out of the other stuff.., couldnt you just give us a few more cut scenes.., or at least a few more mins in each. I mean the damn CGI is  hired out anyways~!

Progressive Screen Mode Option Hidden in Menu GONE. Granted your gonna say its optimized for HD but what about those that have the old SDTV's still they should be able to turn it off for better compatibility. [I love my HDTV ;P]

Killing off of the franchise. WTH are they really doing this or making way for new characters? Im ok with the latter but the former is unforgivable.

Still with the TEXT based story telling. Its an HD era dammit!! At least give us voice if not video too.

UK got a WAY better preorder than we did. We got cheaped

http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/07/02/uk-gets-spoiled-with-soulcalibur-iv-pre-order-goods/

OK now for the good stuff. aka positivos

Online Versus although with no extra modes but ranked and unranked, works like a champ and is smooth with no real issues that Ive seen so far.

The game is damn pretty

Large cast of characters. Minus the pallette swap characters. [Bonus and created]

Tower pf lost souls Mode added. Kind of a cool new mode, but a poor replacement for all the others ripped out in its place. :( Butt hard for those of us that like our SC challanges ;) Conditional Items Rewarded for [Create a skin] meeting certain perimeters on each floor of this mode. :) Although some are near impossible. :(

Revamped in depth gameplay. IE critial finishers, attributed skillls and weapons and armor etc.

Retooling of favorite returning characters move list. :) I.E. tiras 'bi-polar' setup

Created skin palette swap character has a story mode. :)

Better game manual this time around.

50 data slots this time. :) [10 last time you could just swap memory cards to over come this last time]

VADERS IN THE 360 VERSION~!  [waiting for him SUCKS though].

Number grade on a ten? Dont think that I can give it a score because I feel too burnt.

[Xbox] First Impression: Soul Caliber IV

Yeah yeah...I am coimg out of hiding...but let's face it...there has
been nothing really worth playing since GTA IV (and shockingly I am
still playing because I keep getting distrqacted and haven't
FINISHED!!!) Anywho...with that said.....let's talk about the Soul
That Still Burns!

I don't have a lot to write on this game. Why? it's Soul Caliber!!!!
If you have followed this franchise you already know what to expect,
who is in it and so forth and you already know to purchase this game.

The cutscenes are a welcome improvement over the always wordy
storyboard of years past.

The improvements show as this is one of the most beautifully detailed
fighters out there. The game modes are excellent. My only minus is
that they tried to incorporate a tag mode a la Dead or Alive but it's
not as fluid as that game's tag mode is.

The fighting mode is still deep and altho tyhe 'new break an armor
and finishers are new....to me, it's not such a big deal yet but so
far it's kind of fun to learn.

But the BIG selling point this time around is the create a character
skin mode!

Don't like the skin that you are using? Make a NEW one! Make an
original character (mapped over the in game character of course) or
make it based on something...and the more you play the more items get
unlocked!

Creating skins will suck hrs away just like that and you will find
yourself torn between playing and making new skins

I have created characters such as Afro Samurai, Conan and Lara Croft.

I have a few other ideas at work that I won't share suffice to say
wait til you see me online.

Speaking of, online handles pretty well and sometimes there is a bit
of lag but I am hopeful that this clears up...but nonetheless what
Call of Duty did for FPS, this game will do for fighters so, don't
read anymore and get the darned game!!!

Scale of 1 to 10......a 9.5

(Pogo.....you know what to do...go for it)

defense. I tag them as spam constantly but they're not sticking because it's
@blackberry.com so their 'power' keeps them off the blacklists.

As Pogo can attest, I personally threatened the crap outta Blackberry to
get them to give up the ID on that jackass, stop the flow themselves or go to
the Carrier the service was hooked up on and make it stop. They claimed
some crapass 'privacy' thing to hide behind and won't budge. I then went a
step further and demanded the Carrier so I could go nail them myself, they
refused again. I'm sure the Carrier would put a stop to it because they're
not getting paid for the traffic since the deadbeat couldn't pay his cell and
Blackberry e-mail service bills!
