I thought the Elite were all meant to have the new and improved drive anyway?
Perhaps not.

Mine seemed a lot quieter when I first got it back, it seems loud again now
though. Although you ever looked at how badly manufactured DVDs are these
days? Half my games look REALLY badly made, not properly circular so they
vibrate more in the drive at high speeds. My older 360 games are better and
as such quieter.
