[Xbox] Is Madden 09 doomed already?

So first we see Amazon giving up some freebies when you preorder.
That's normal, they've got no stores to work with and cause huge
overhead to have to pay for so it's all good and in our favor.

But I get Walmart's Wire a little bit ago...

Madden '09 for the big consoles with a $10 Gift Card? And they
obviously already have the Walmart twisted low, low price under
the $59.99 bar - now it'll be less than $49.99? Granted it appears
it's some sort of Walmart.com gift cert # so you'd have to buy from
them again but the margins on these suckers aren't that much more
than $10 for more retailers to begin with?

Can't figure that out and if these two are already at it with three
weeks to go towards launch are we looking at over-ordering of the
title meaning it'll be one of the bigger flops of the year with shrinking
gamer budgets to sink into a repeater title or what?
