Re: [Xbox] 8 Simple Ways to Improve Xbox Live

Isn't claiming "best rendering" a bit of a mute point seeing as the whole
reason rendering problems occur in the first place is the fact that the W3
never bothered to actually dictate HOW stuff should be rendered.

Imagine drawing a picture if nobody ever taught you what a line, square,
circle etc looked like? Its kinda the situation with web standards, everyone
is left guessing.

I do have to say, from a hacking code perspective (I never claimed to be an
expert remember) its a lot easier to get code to work on Firefox than it is
on IE. I spent AGES trying to get a fade effect to work on Firefox and IE.
Although it seems a lot of that is the standards are so far behind the
browsers functionality that there ends up being completely different
functions on each browser to do the same thing. A real PITA!

Alex.
