reason rendering problems occur in the first place is the fact that the W3
never bothered to actually dictate HOW stuff should be rendered.
Imagine drawing a picture if nobody ever taught you what a line, square,
circle etc looked like? Its kinda the situation with web standards, everyone
is left guessing.
I do have to say, from a hacking code perspective (I never claimed to be an
expert remember) its a lot easier to get code to work on Firefox than it is
on IE. I spent AGES trying to get a fade effect to work on Firefox and IE.
Although it seems a lot of that is the standards are so far behind the
browsers functionality that there ends up being completely different
functions on each browser to do the same thing. A real PITA!
