the other part since that's few and far between on the 360, which I
hope you have as you just mentioned XBox and not if you have the
original or a 360... As far as the OBX (Original XBox) I'm not sure
what there is out there with any multiplayer support, etc.
On the 360 tho, which I never see at home anymore because the
other half's playing her RPG's all the time...
Final Fantasy XI with the whole collection including the latest
Wings of the Goddess expansion pack. There's a 2008 collection
with all 4 packs and the platform game. Reason for this advice is
that it's about the only really decent MMORPG for the 360 right
now w/online play. It's also on the PC and PS2, so when you
play online you have a large base of people to play with and keep
yourself interested in the game.
Cons are: Sucks up large amounts of HDD space and we may
have discovered a minor glitch with the 20GB units where the
game cache can't keep up. The packets are very small, so even
the slowest broadband connection can play without hassles but
2 major actions you do now and then like to lock up on the 360.
Also it's independent of Microsoft, so there's a monthly $$ to
play it paid to Square Eni$ but you only need the free Silver
MS Live account and don't have to do the Gold to play.
There's other RPGish stuff like Elder Scrolls Oblivion and a
weird Japanese version of something but most of those are
clunky, little online multiplayer options and once you play it
for a bit - you get bored and move on. Those are best found
as a rental or used copy instead of sinking $$ into them.
Go on Xbox.com and use the Games Catalog to search for
RPG stuff - you'll find all the titles you need there.
