monitor-style hookup. Not composite or component. So first since Alex
loves to skimp details we gotta find out if he's using the official cable or
some knock-off, then the TV he's using to deal with it. Didn't bother to
mention all those nice details that might help him get an answer.
Obviously it's going to be a little harder since he's not in the US to
find someone running the same stuff, so it's hard to pin down the
problem. He's tucked away in his bed for a couple more hours now, then
we'll hopefully get some realistic information.
One thing that's buggin me is the 768p bit, since it's 720p as a norm
at least here in the US. So if it's working but at a funky base resolution
for him it's possible his TV can't deal with the higher res because it's
not tying to put out 1080p/i but some other weird multiple?
