maybe it's true, maybe it's not, if it is, then thats the first time in history, TVs are pre-calibrated for showroom floors, not the home user. i just did a quick search at avsforum and don't see anything your mentioning, if it was true, it would be there.

On the LG you can pan the camera around in GTA with fairly good clarity, the Samsung on the other hand makes you dizzy and hard to see with a clearly slower response time - either the panel or software, probably both. We could argue about which manufacturer is better, quite frankly it would be silly as I make no claims to know. I just know the LG panels I have seen look "good enough" to me and Vizios are only sold in the US from what I can tell. A friend of mine has a "budget range" 37" 1080p HDTV and I didn't even realise it was 1080p because it looks like ass. The colours are terrible, its dull, just about any bad point you care to name. Plus its not as if Inside Xbox is worth buying a different TV for even if it WAS the TV at fault, which I doubt it is. Alex. And in response, I wasn't planning on giving you a solution - I was asking for those details to be able to duplicate it on other setups and see if there is a true glitch or possibly just one on your model of TV OR if it's just you and you're cursed. The details you originally gave is more like 'my ass hurts' and not 'my butt hurts when I sit on a metal table and it's -30f outside in the wintertime' which helps duplicate the environment. Since my Vizio's are on the road all the time in all kinds of temps and weather/power conditions if I asked the same thing no one would probably have the same issues. The Olevia's inside and stable, so that'd be a totally different environment. We've already noticed a difference in the calibration of Guitar Hero III's w/the Les Paul's and the Vizios depending on what kind of power is being supplied to it. Up to 18ms off in some cases. So that's why I asked where the rest of the info is, to see if it's something bigger you can't fix or something in your setups to investigate. Like I said, its clearly not the TV as you well know once the 360 is set to a resolution it ALWAYS outputs that resolution. If the TV couldnt handle 1080p then ALL output at 1080p from the 360 would be affected, its purely some sort of problem upscaling Inside Xbox to 1080p over VGA on my xbox. Very odd. Mind you its not half as bad as the PS3. The 2.40 firmware update just broke the ability to steam AVIs, although some people had far worse issues needing a format of the hard drive in a PC to recover. Alex.
