[Xbox] My son's Xbox has 3 red lights on and wont work.

Hello!
I am new to your group. The reason why I joined is because I bought
my son a used Xbox 360 from a store last year for his b-day. It isn't
working now and the lights on the front of it are on (3 of them.) I
have been looking on the internet to find out how to fix it (I have
found sites that say you can fix it but don't tell you just how to do
it.)
I really would love to get this fixed for him.
