I did check out K-Mart online & also Best Buy - no price drops via
the web.

any alleged price drop is to occur the week of July 13th...

Not sure if it was here or on GFL (Gamers For Life), but there was
speculation that the drop would be on the 20GB mod only as a way to
get it off the shelves for a soon to be announced 60 GB model. so it
does not appear to be an across the board price drop for all SKU's,
just the 20 GB model.

Still, it would be pretty righteous of MS if they'd drop the Elite to
the same price as a PS3 40 GB ($399 US); especially since the press
just announced that Sony was losing billions on the console (no big
surprises there to anyone who follows consoles).
