__._,_.___No they haven't I belong to costco. Consoles can still be returned anytime the change in policy is mainly for Computers, projectors, mp3 players, Televisions, camcorders, cameras and cellular phones. They did this because they have 100% satisfaction guarantee and people were keeping TV's for 2 or 3 years and taking them back to get the newer models. The same was going on with computers. You can thank crooked consumers for that but still with those items you get an additional 2 year guarantee of it breaks so you are covered! I just bought a TV there so if it breaks 18 months from now they will exchange it for me. That's a great deal. I know a few people that brought their RROD consoles back to Costco and they replaced them on the spot. That's much better than getting a refurb!
i don't have a membership, and costco has changed their return policy

PSCG Cleveland wrote:Ya but just because it says Ground delivery, doesn't mean it stayson the ground the whole time it's in transit. So yes, it can go groundin semi's to their Ft Worth hub (it appears) and then gets slingshot'edthrough the air to the various master hubs. You've got one up therein Chicagoland that has an airstrip. Ours indoesn't, it's Cleveland gotta land at the airport and then get trucked out to the giant sortfacility a little south. That extra bit means we couldn't get a 1-daylike you're saying.Who'd you have to call to get a tracking #? I'm just looking on theSupport site where you fill out the ticket, etc. and it shows the S/Nof any box(es) you have registered under that Live ID. Nothing aboutdelivery dates either. Since I've had no e-mails from MS on thisgo-round, they posted up the tracking # on the Support site andI've had to do the rest from there. What's the FedEx tracer saying for an expected delivery date?On Wed, Mar 5, 2008 at 2:20 PM, PRoPHeTiZeR <prophetizer@wrup.net> wrote:i understand they make airplanes, but it says ground delivery, and no, icalled them today to get the tracking number. says delivery today, butdoesn't make sense. fed ex site hasn't been updated since yesterdaymorning, which is more weird, like it never made it to, figures chicago PSCG Cleveland wrote:Eh, they make airplanes? Did you scan the tracking # at FedEx.comto seeit's estimated arrival date? And they sent YOU e-mails and notthe rest ofus? I feel insulted now! LOLDallas/Ft Worth is one of the largest FedExHubs and you happen tolive in one of the heaviest action territories. There's so much junk goingfrom down there to up where you are - they packit all in planes andairlift it. Tons faster and cheaper, a 747cargo-modified can hold thecontents of about 15 semi's. That's 15 lessdrivers to get paid and about55% less fuel than all those trucks at once. And like 4-5 hours transittime vs. 18+ long-haul.So ya... it's possible.BUT, check the waybill tracking # to see whenFedEx says it'll be there. Andyou'll know when it's 'out on truck fordelivery' that your local guy's gotit and he'll be there whenever younormally see them zip around droppingthings... off. <Grin>On Wed, Mar 5, 2008 at 1:40 PM, PRoPHeTiZeR<prophetizer@wrup.net> wrote:ship from tx toground in 1 day? they told me it was coming chicago today, but i don't see how thats possible for ground?
