to me too.
If it'd been asked with XBox in the question, that'd produce a whole
different set of responses than just 'purchases' in general. I buy via the
Net, have for years and will continue to do so. 1/2 of the unit we built
came from online purchases with the best pricing with reputable sources.
But all our 360's came from brick n' mortar or physical face-to-face
purchases. Rarely, if at all, would I buy a console system over the Net
because of where it's coming from and the lack of the ability to see the
item to ensure it's new, it's condition if it's used and more.
I bought a huge set of audio-video wiring from a place in SC I'd never
dealt with prior to that point. Fantastic stuff, would recommend them
to anyone else. But wires are almost always just wires, there's some
quality issues but usually there isn't someone trying to yank me with
a fake description of a DOA 360!
So the question is semi-loaded and the way it was done, certainly
not applicable to anything but console accessories at best...
