Re: [Xbox] Re: how can xbox warranty run out in may this year?

Actually if you get really bored and go read all the fine print that was
pointed out, they actually can do that. Nothing stated as to what you'll
get back. It's their option to repair or replace and replacements carry
the 90 days now (apparently, maybe always was?). When we had that
one flipped around Sept. '07 it came back as a brand new unit and with
a 1 yr warranty.

My only afterthoughts now are that maybe it's all triggered off the
serial #'s and mfg date. Since the unit was new-off-shelf and the
serial # never tagged as a refurb/rebuild of any kind, their system
still thinks it's 'new' and went off the mfg. date with the standard
warranty they offer.

Only 24 hours until we both gets ours back via FedEx and find out
what's what! LOL
