Scratches anywhere, especially ones running radially around
it - not inside to out? If you have even a small scratch in
one part of it, that could be the magical spot where it's
loading the multiplayer code and can't read it right.
If that's the case, consider buying a resurfacing kit like
GameDR or something from Digital Innovations or look around
where you live at the Video Rental and Used Game stores
and see if any of them offer the service. Many of'em have
started doing this because it's a small money-maker for
them, pricing's been around $4-$8 a disc. No guarantee
that it'll work, but we've recovered quite a few worn 360 discs
using the GameDR.
