it's just normal wear and tear, i've had this happen to all my consoles over the years, dreamcast, playstation, n64, xbox.

controller getting old, or make sure it's centered b4 u turn it on.

did anyone ever have a problem with the controller that if you lightly
push up the left stick that your character keeps moving slow like its
sticking or somthing even though your thumb isnt on the stick?
