It is indeed good to hear from some of the girls of the group.

Between us regulars there is often quite an unhealthy dose of testosterone in
this group, especially Proph. ;-)

A friend of mine all his girls are gamer girls too. At least one of them
learnt Quake 3 at 4 years old. A bit young perhaps, but as is often said in
this group - it entirely depends on the child. If they run around the house
with kitchen knives trying to kill each other you might suspect its a bad
influence. But otherwise, its perfectly normal for kids to run around
beating each other up anyway. At least gaming she gets to beat on her older
siblings rather than the other way around, also in a safe pain-less way.

So I for one think that gaming is a great outlet for one and all.
