If you and Dave can't get it working...the 360 has something called Windows Connect Now. Basically, you copy the network settings from one PC onto a USB drive and transfer them to another. If there's another PC in your house that's connected wirelessly, you can copy those settings and then copy into the 360.
Here's basic instructions:
After you copy it onto the drive, plug into the 360, go to Network settings, select Windows Connect Now and follow directions from there. Not sure if that will solve, but it's something to try if you and Dave get stuck. Good luck.

I have a hearing problem (I have an appointment with a hearing specialist
