Indeed they are "relatively" quiet, but they are still far louder than both my
main PCs which is insane. Granted, I went to a lot of trouble to buy quiet
PC cases and components, but still the 360 fans are stupidly loud.
Also bear in mind I am still comparing, I am comparing how loud they are
compared to the little air they actually pump out. For that level of noise I
would expect a LOT more airflow than the 360 actually has. I can excuse the
noise of air moving around the case, but the fans themselves omit noise from
operating which is purely due to being cheap fans. The fact you can BUY
special quieter replacements that have BETTER airflow is evidence than the
stock fans are poor quality. The fact the 360 overheats is a fairly good
indication in itself.
