Well then I guess I'm joining that cult group too 'cause the wireless nonsense
you just shot out a minute ago doesn't make any sense at all. In
fact, it's highly
close-minded because you're just presuming everything is one way and that's it.
My statements were based on averages and usually on US-based loads since
the majority of us here are in the US and in more urban areas than rural where
there wouldn't be much bandwidth clogging.
Now lets see. Here's your real problem! Easy to figure out.
First you insult a majority of us calling us close-minded. Now,
you're whippin
out the Brit card and trying to play that. One problem Einstein,
while I live in
the US - I'm 50% American Indian and 50% British. So I got the best of both
worlds and now you've managed to insult me twice by thinking people in here,
including myself, would have it in for limeys. THAT sounds awfully close minded
to me pally boy. What's next, insulting my car next?
The UK and the US are radically different in how things operate. Voltages,
bandwidth, ISP's, HSP's, hardware & software distribution and tons more. So
while we abuse the crap outta our resources taking 10 hour showers daily and
cranking that A/C up on high just to PO you off, you live in a highly-controlled
environment that seems to be on the brink of collapse if someone fires up the
toaster for more than 30 seconds.
So try asking questions, speaking intelligently and realizing across the pond
over here it's a whole different world. We do, I was curious why the A/C thing
was such a huge issue but you didn't see me just start insulting you about it
or saying it's wrong because that ain't the way it is here in the good ole' USA
did ya? No. You played the Brit Card, don't whine about it now.
And I've noted folks from other countries in here, they get involved but they
try to get a grip on the differences before making statements. I get Reuters
business feeds in my browser all the time that freak me out because I think
a company's closing or something's up only to go read it and find out it's just
the parts in the UK. Reuters in the US, Reuters in the UK. Same company,
different news. Gee, there's a concept.
Treat others with respect, understanding and show some curiosity and
maybe then you'll see that two-way street open up.
