[Xbox] Original XBox won't turn off

While I'm waiting for the XBox 360 to be repaired (RROD) for the
second time, I decided to play the old original XBox. Powered up no
problem, everything works fine, but when I try to turn it off, nothing
happens, I have to unplug it to shut it off.

Anyone have any experience with this problem?
